Dr. Sarah Strandholt
Chiropractor
Sarah believes that movement is medicine and embraces a holistic approach to treatment, ensuring each individual receives personalized care to help them return to their favorite activities. Her journey into chiropractic care was inspired by her passion for movement, and having received manual therapy for her recovery as a ski racer.
Sarah specializes in treating skiers, yogis, and addressing issues with ankles and feet, TMJD, stress management, and women’s health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College West, graduating Cum Laude. She also completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University and is certified in Yoga Teacher Training (YRT-200), CSIA Level 2, and Active Release Techniques for the lower and upper body.
Her work at a long-term care home, providing chiropractic and exercise therapy for seniors, has reinforced the importance of maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle throughout one’s lifespan. In her free time, Sarah enjoys skiing, practicing yoga, working out, cooking, and gardening.
