Every Myo session is one-on-one and begins with a whole-body assessment, so your care is tailored to how you move, what’s limiting you, and what your body needs most that day.

You’ll start with hands-on therapy to reduce pain, release tension, and restore alignment—relief you’ll feel immediately. Then, your clinician will guide you through personalized movement to help you build confidence and control in your body.

Is Myo right for me—even if I’m not injured?

Absolutely. Nearly half of the clients who come to Myo aren’t dealing with a major injury—they’re here to prevent one, improve posture, or feel more in control of how their body moves.

Our care is built for both performance and prevention. Whether you’re training hard, easing back into being active, or feeling off in ways you can’t explain, we’re here to help you make sense of your body.

And if something is going on? Our expert clinicians are trained to treat a wide range of injuries and conditions, so you’re always in good hands.

Do you accept insurance?

We’re an out-of-network provider, which means we ask for payment at the time of your session and don’t bill insurance directly.

However, we can give you a superbill—a detailed receipt with everything your insurance company needs if you’d like to request reimbursement. If you'd like a superbill after your session, just let us know at the front desk. We’re happy to help.

Do you accept insurance, and can you direct bill my insurer?

Yes—we can direct bill most major insurance companies in Canada. Our front-of-house team is highly experienced with insurance claims and here to make your experience as smooth as possible. If you're unsure whether your insurer is among those we can bill directly, please contact your local clinic, and we'll be happy to assist you.

Every one of our clinicians utilizes Myo’s FutureProof method to deliver comprehensive care that’s always personalized to you and your body.

Madelyn is a licensed Physiotherapist with certification in IMS dry needling. While working as a Kinesiologist, Madelyn gained valuable experience in exercise and movement based therapy prior to obtaining her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2018. Over the past 6 years, Madelyn has been taking additional courses to work towards completing her Orthopaedic Manual therapy levels to become a highly skilled manual therapist. She has also taken additional courses in assessing and treating patients with Tempo-mandibular dysfunction (TMD).

Madelyn enjoys working with her clients to achieve their individual goals and to help them take part in the activities that they love. She is passionate about educating and empowering her clients. She tailors her treatments to meet and support each of her client’s individual needs and goals; as well as providing each client with the tools to help optimize their recovery. Her sessions may include a mix of: soft tissue techniques, manual therapy, joint mobilizations, IMS dry needling, and therapeutic exercise.

When not treating at the clinic, you can find Madelyn spending time outside with friends enjoying the beautiful BC landscape. This includes training for half marathons, skiing, and swimming. She also enjoys travelling, discovering new brunch spots and spending time with family. Fun Fact: Madelyn was a former national synchronized swimmer who spent 13 years competing across North America.

Kevin holds a Masters of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is a licensed physiotherapist in Vancouver, B.C.

Clinically, Kevin has a wide range of experience and has worked with everyone from weekend warriors and office workers, to UFC fighters and trainers, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai world champions, as well as professional and amateur skateboarders.

Kevin is a second degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and instructor. He has been teaching and competing throughout North America since 2013. Teaching Jiu-Jitsu has provided Kevin the opportunity to work with students from all over the world, with all levels of experience. Moreover, Jiu-Jitsu has provided a foundation for a unique perspective for mobility and strength into Kevin’s physical therapy practice.

With his unique background, Kevin has transferred his experience of analyzing and coaching specialized movement to a wide variety of students in the gym. Regardless of where you are now, Kevin is ready to help you move and feel your best.

When Kevin is not in the clinic, you can find him teaching Jiu-Jitsu, skateboarding, or out on the golf course!

Kanwar earned his Doctorate of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne after completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia.

Growing up in South Vancouver, Kanwar was highly active in sports, with a strong passion for basketball, soccer, and track and field. He continued his basketball career at the collegiate level, playing for the Langara Falcons for two seasons. During this time, his own experiences with injuries and working with the team physiotherapist sparked his interest in the profession, ultimately leading him to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
