Physical Therapist
Alex is a Houston-born physical therapist, holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Graduating from the Kaiser Permanente orthopedic residency program in Oakland, he specializes in orthopedics.
With over a decade of experience in martial arts like Muay Thai, kickboxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Alex believes in living life to the fullest through the enjoyment of movement. While personally passionate about running and martial arts, Alex recognizes the diverse outlets for movement and is dedicated to helping clients rediscover their joy in activity.
Motivated by the body’s remarkable capacity for growth and resilience, Alex has successfully guided clients, particularly runners, fighters, and barbell athletes, back to their goals. ACL recovery and rehabilitation for overhead, track, and field athletes are also within Alex’s expertise.
Emphasizing a treatment philosophy rooted in understanding each client’s unique story, Alex builds personalized plans tailored to current abilities and future aspirations. By optimizing performance through mobility, strength, conditioning, and manual therapy, Alex ensures not only overcoming current limitations but also providing long-term solutions for any challenges that may arise.
