Common Questions
Myo 101
Myo is modern physical therapy built around your body, your goals, and your future. Every session follows our FutureProof Method™—a five-phase framework that combines hands-on care with personalized movement strategies to help you move better, feel stronger, and prevent injury.
Your care is always one-on-one with an expert clinician. No machines, no assistants, and no cookie-cutter programs—just real, intentional care designed for you.
It’s our five-phase care framework—from Decrease Pain to Move With Purpose—designed to help you build a better, smarter relationship with your body. It was developed through the combined decades of clinical experience from our senior clinical leaders, bringing together the most effective principles from physical therapy, chiropractic, manual therapy, and movement science. Every session is designed to meet you where you are and move you forward.
It’s your personalized roadmap to moving better, feeling stronger, and staying ahead of pain. Built by your clinician, it includes your goals, treatment plan, and key takeaways—along with targeted exercises to support your progress between sessions.
Yes, the FutureProof Method™ draws from proven clinical principles in physical therapy, manual therapy, movement science, and strength and conditioning.
It’s integrative, evidence-informed, and designed to support long-term health, recovery and performance.
Our clinicians are licensed healthcare professionals—Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Registered Massage Therapist—each practicing within their regulated scope of care.
What sets us apart is how they work together through a shared clinical approach. Every clinician at Myo is trained in our FutureProof Method™, ensuring that no matter who you see, your one-on-one care is aligned, intentional, and focused on helping you move better, recover smarter, and perform at your best.
Traditional care is often reactive and siloed—focused on short-term relief or treating a single issue in isolation. Myo takes a proactive, whole-body approach.
At Myo, whether you’re working with a Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, or Registered Massage Therapist, your care is always one-on-one, rooted in movement and built around your goals. Our FutureProof Method™ gives every clinician a shared clinical approach, so your treatment feels coordinated, not compartmentalized.
You don’t have to see multiple specialists to benefit from integrated care because at Myo, every provider is aligned around one goal: helping your body move and feel its best.
Getting Started
You’re in the right place. Whether you’re dealing with pain, coming back after time away, or just feeling disconnected from your body—we’ll help you figure it out.
Your first session is all about getting to know your body: what it needs, how it moves, and what’s getting in the way. From there, we’ll co-create your FutureProof Plan™–a guided path to pain-free, confident movement, built just for you.
Every session includes a brief assessment, hands-on treatment, and integrative exercises tailored to your body. You'll leave with tools and insights you can use immediately.
Yes. Your first session includes a comprehensive whole-body assessment and hands-on treatment, followed by personalized integrative exercises. You’ll leave with a FutureProof Plan™—a clear, actionable path forward.
Many clients feel better after their first session, especially when it comes to mobility, alignment, and tension. Long-term change takes time, but we’ll help you track small wins and keep you moving forward.
We support a wide range of injuries and movement issues—from post-op recovery to repetitive strain, joint pain, and stiffness. Not sure if we can help? Book a first session and we’ll assess your needs.

Yes. We use movement assessments and ongoing check-ins to guide your FutureProof Plan™. Your clinician will help track your progress and update your care based on how your body is adapting.
We’ll always work at a pace that’s right for your body. Some hands-on techniques may create sensation or pressure—but we’ll explain everything and adjust as needed. You’re in control.
Our team will help match you based on your goals, preferences, and movement history. Whether you're looking for someone who specializes in performance, rehab, or everyday mobility, we’ve got you.
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us—no doctor’s note or prior authorization required.
Wear something you feel comfortable moving in—like athletic wear or stretchy clothes. Shorts are recommended for the best treatment experience. You may be asked to remove outer layers for hands-on work, so we recommend layers.
Yes. Whether you’re in your 20s or your 70s, we tailor care to your body, goals, and movement level. We see teens, athletes, parents, and retirees alike.
Pricing, Payments & Booking

Pricing may vary slightly by location. Visit your local clinic page for current rates.

While we can assist with direct billing, we don't have access to individual coverage details. To determine your specific coverage, please log into your insurance provider's member portal or mobile app. Most major Canadian insurers, such as Sun Life, Manulife, and Blue Cross, offer user-friendly apps that allow you to quickly view your coverage details, submit claims, and manage benefits. Accessing this information online is typically quick and straightforward, helping you understand your benefits without the need to contact your insurer directly.

Specific Services & More
We do—but it’s not your average massage. Massage therapy sessions at Myo are targeted, therapeutic, and fully integrated into your FutureProof Plan™.
Instead of oil-heavy relaxation or one-size-fits-all pressure, our Registered Massage Therapists use precise myofascial techniques to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support recovery. Each session is paired with integrative exercises designed to help your body move better—not just feel good in the moment.
Each clinic offers different specialty services based on its team. Browse availability by location when booking online—or give us a call. We’ll help you find the right fit.
We’d be honored. A big part of our community finds us through word of mouth—from clients who’ve felt the difference and want to share it forward. While we can’t offer referral rewards (thanks, antiquated healthcare laws 😢), sharing the gift of FutureProofing is powerful on its own. Helping someone you care about feel better, move smarter, and live more fully? That’s next-level karma.
If you're passionate about movement and believe in helping people take ownership of their health, we’d love to meet you. Whether you’re a clinician, someone who brings care and thoughtfulness to hospitality and client experience, or a behind-the-scenes builder, visit our Careers Page to see open roles.
It’s time for a 1:1 with a body expert.
