Jouen Chang
Physiotherapist
Jouen completed her Master’s of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2024.Her passion for movement and exercise began at a young age and grew through her experiences as a varsity track and field and cross-country athlete. Her own journey recovering from running-related injuries sparked her interest in pursuing a career in rehabilitation. Jouen is dedicated to helping individuals return to the activities they love—whether it’s competitive sports, recreational hobbies, or everyday tasks.
Jouen takes a biopsychosocial approach to care, recognizing the profound impact injury and dysfunction can have on both physical and mental well-being. By integrating manual therapy, movement, and exercise, she strives to build her clients’ confidence—both physically and mentally—so they can achieve their goals and return to the activities that bring meaning to their lives.
Outside of work, Jouen enjoys running through the trails of Pacific Spirit Park, biking along the seawall or North Shore mountains, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
