Dr. Sharleen Mariano
Physical Therapist
Dr. Sharleen Mariano is a physical therapist with experience in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Neurological, and Geriatric based settings. She received her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Monterey Bay. While in Monterey Bay she helped develop, lead, and coach their Collegiate Women’s Rugby Team.
Shortly after pursing a career in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work within higher education, she then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from West Coast University. Through her diverse leadership, education, and clinical experiences, she discovered the value of building an inclusive space of support, belonging, and accountability where everyone can feel like they are seen, heard, and known.
Regardless of what you are navigating in your rehab and wellness journey, Sharleen’s passion for facilitating healing through intentional and meaningful movement and hands-on therapy will help you get back to doing what you love. She will help equip, educate, and empower you with tools to understand your body, your injury, and your movement journey as needed to feel safe and confident moving your body in ways that’s meaningful to you.
In her free time, you can find Sharleen doing hot yoga, lifting weights, hitting the driving range, or spending time with her dog, Boonso and her husband Abraham.
